How to enter the award?

Requirement
Eligibility Check
All hotel groups, hotel brands and hotels in Europe are eligible to take part in the competition. It's all about innovativeness and quality content! Neither opening nor implementation date are relevant.

Prepare Your Application
Gather details of your innovative concepts and provide us with some background information on operational implementation, collaborating suppliers and the overall impact of the technological solution.

Once your application is completed and submitted within the respective timeframe, our Jury will evaluate each application and discuss the selected nominees in detail, to determine the finalists and select the winner.

The Criteria
Jury evaluation process
The decision of the jury will be primarily influenced by a number of different, non-exclusive criteria with regards to the innovative-ness and overall implementation of the technological solution(s):
- differentiation & game-changing - measurable impact
- scalability & economic viability
From amongst the nominees, the three finalists will then be elected and the winner will be chosen.

All nominees will receive a complimentary ticket to the
196+ forum Vienna and a framed certificate of appreciation. The three finalists will be announced during the 196+ forum Vienna conference, and the winner will be awarded in special ceremony during the Festive Dinner.
In addition, each participant will benefit from our extensive marketing & PR material.

Costs
Participation Fee
We charge a nominal fee of
100 € (net, plus VAT) for participating in the competition for the Hotel Innovation Award. The amount is due with the final submission of the application and will be invoiced separately after the submission deadline.
