196+ events organizes three conferences each year to connect decision makers in the hospitality industry and put the spotlight on one success factor of the hospitality industry:

196+ forum Munich presents the Hotel Property Award.
196+ forum Vienna presents the Hotel Innovation Award.

Each Hotel Award features different aspects of hotel excellence and, thanks to our numerous participants, showcases a variety of successful hotel concepts.

Please note: Each participant can apply once for the Hotel Design Award AND the Hotel Property Award, depending on the opening date. However, a participant can apply each year for the Hotel Innovation Award, if the topic is suitable.

Our HOTEL Awards

Hotel Design Award 2025

The annual industry award “Hotel Design Award” targets hotels that were completed and opened in Europe between October 2023 and March 2025.
This award celebrates the most outstanding hotel designs across Europe, recognizing creativity, architectural excellence, and the ultimate guest experience.
The winner is announced during 196+ forum Milan, which takes places in April in conjunction with Salone del Mobile

Hotel Property Award 2025

The annual industry award “Hotel Property Award” targets hotels that were completed and opened in Europe between January 2024 and July 2025.
This award celebrates the most prosperous hotel openings across Europe, and regards a homo-geneous combination of all the individual aspects that form a winning and ultimately economically successful hotel concept. The winner is announced during 196+ forum Munich which takes places in October in conjunction with EXPO REAL.

Hotel Innovation Award 2024

The annual industry Award "Hotel Innovation Award" presents outstanding operational concepts and strategies of hotel groups, brands and/or individual hotels - independantly of opening or implementation date.
Each year, the award focuses on an inspiring topic, like HR in 2022, ESG in 2023 and Technology in 2024.
The winner is announced during 196+ forum Vienna which takes places in November in conjunction with the Vienna Tourism Conference.
